Some days ago, psyBNC suddenly appeared in the list of backdoors
in snort. I wondered, psyBNC is no backdoor. Because of that fact, 
i mailed the maintainer of the snort list:

 Hello Mr. Forster,

 i really wonder you put my bouncer, known as psybnc, into the
 list of "backdoors" into snort.

 psybnc has and is no backdoor, just a static irc bouncer
 with no bad intention at all.

 if you would like to keep it, please send me a good
 reason.

I'm not sure off hand why that one is listed in the backdoor section....
My guess would be that in the database, you were next to psyberstream and it
got moved to the wrong section.  I'll fix the database and the next ruleset
release to reflect this error.
(it should have been listed in 'info.rules')
